Global Settings
Heedify Global Settings manages tenant-wide Microsoft 365 application consents for the Heedify add-ons (Heedify Reports, Heedify Presence, Heedify Call Center, Heedify Agent Console, Agent Console Unify, Agent Console Europe), integrated with Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure AD) and gated by Microsoft 365 tenant admin authorization. Each Heedify application has its own consent that must be approved once per tenant.
Page layout
The page is titled Application Consent Management and presents three pivot tabs:
| Tab | Applications |
|---|---|
| Common Applications | Heedify Reports, Heedify Presence |
| Extend Applications | Heedify Call Center, Heedify Agent Console |
| Unify Applications | Heedify Agent Console Unify, Heedify Agent Console Europe |
Each application is listed as a row with a status icon (green check = consented, grey cross = not yet consented) and a Consent Permissions button.
Granting consent
- Open Global Settings from the sidebar.
- Open the tab that contains the application you want to approve.
- Click Consent Permissions next to the application.
- You are redirected to Microsoft to approve the permissions for your tenant.
- After approval Microsoft redirects you back to the portal; the application’s status icon turns into a green check.
Permissions to use this page
Access to the page is gated by the GlobalSettings module permission, evaluated on the active entity:
- Without read permission, the page shows the message Access Denied — You do not have permission to view global settings.
- With read but without update permission, you see the consent status of every application but the Consent Permissions buttons are disabled — you cannot trigger a new consent.
- With update permission, the buttons are active and you can grant or re-grant consent.
You must also be a Microsoft 365 tenant administrator when you click Consent Permissions — Microsoft will refuse the consent flow otherwise. If you are not a tenant admin, ask your IT admin to open this page and approve.
Revoking consent
Consents are revoked from the Microsoft 365 admin center (Enterprise applications), not from this page.
FAQ
What happens if I revoke a Heedify consent?
Heedify loses the Microsoft Graph permissions of that application. Depending on the application, you lose realtime presence (Heedify Presence), historical reports (Heedify Reports), call handling (Heedify Call Center) or the agent desktop (Heedify Agent Console). Revoke only when retiring an application.
Why do I need to consent to multiple Heedify applications?
Each Heedify add-on requests the minimum Microsoft 365 permissions it needs. Splitting consent across Common, Extend and Unify applications keeps the permission set per application as small as possible and lets you adopt only the add-ons you have licences for.
Can a non-admin grant the Heedify consents?
No. The Microsoft consent dialog refuses any user who is not a Microsoft 365 tenant administrator, regardless of their role inside Heedify. With Heedify read permission a non-admin can see the consent status but the Consent Permissions buttons are disabled.
Where do I revoke a granted Heedify consent?
Consents are revoked from the Microsoft 365 admin center under Enterprise applications, not from the Heedify portal. The portal only displays consent status and lets you grant or re-grant; revocation is a Microsoft operation.
Works with: Microsoft 365, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft Graph, Quick Setup — Grant consent.
